Upper Level Low To Bills NNW Erodes Away Today!

This could mean Bill still heads in the same direction without turning or it may shift more towards a Westwardly direction.

Please excuse me, I am so new at this. I looked at your link. Is the Upper Level Low shown by clicking the HDW-low box and observing the flags/direction? Or, is it something else completely in the graphic such as the dry air. Thanks.

Assuming the person who started this thread thinks it will just keep heading more west and eventually into the CONUS, this thread should be killed. There is no meteorological explanation or support for the track reasoning. NHC cone looks good to me on a recurve with a Newfoundland/Canada impact possibility

The flags show wind direction. So if you see them in a circle then yes they could be used to see where the low exists!

No offense, but this post is utter crap. There is no meteorological reason for this to go west.

There's still a pretty good trough setting up over the east coast that should prevent any drastic track changes.

The low over the Great Lakes is what will cause Bill to go north-northwestward.

Isn't this why we have a thread in the ACTIVE section for Hurricane Bill? What is up with all the recent side threads about Bill? They are unnecessary (unless one is looking for attention). If you have something to say about Bill, then put it in the thread about Bill...the thread is there for a reason.

I'll even be nice and add a link that takes you to page 1 of Bill's thread:

Looks like a warm front to me. Anyways, Bill may sneak under the 1021 MB High to it's NW between bermuda and the East coast. Click on the NCEP Front box to see where the high is:

We may be in trouble if this ULL then trof doesn't catch him.
