Ok and one more - not a pretty picture of a single hurricane, but the picture I call "tropics insanity" from Sept 1 2008 when there were 5 active systems in the Atlantic.

Wilma? I see a geographic feature but can't tell if it's the top of the Yucatan, top of Honduras, top of Cuba, etc. It looks like an older photograph but that could be trickery. :lol:

edit - actually pretty sure that storm is just east of Jamaica. We've got a "guess that storm!" game thread around here somewhere.

Not Donna or Allen, or Wilma or the Labor Day storm.

I wonder whose satellite would have taken a picture in 1935.

Hints: the 1935 storm might have looked similar, though; and the picture I posted is the whole cloud field.
