Skys getting darker here in BR. I am wondering if we are going to get any effects at all though. It looks like its taking a little jog north, and there is not much on the western side of this system.

Winds blowing maybe 20 mph right now.

And no problem Gufler!

My dad just called from Larose... Its bad there. Powers out, constant 50+ mph wind, driving rain, and trees snapping.

From Mobile: no rain right now, but wind gusts are getting stronger and more frequent (which is knocking pine cones onto neighbors' shed roofs- what a jarring sound!). Local news is reporting water covering the Causeway and up in parking lots of the restaurants. Pictures posted on WKRG's and Fox10 News' Facebook pages show a very angry Gulf pounding the piers at Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and the Pensacola area.

Praying for all in Isaac's path tonight in LA, MS, and the entire No. Gulf coast. Here's a prayer I like.

Post away, mate. Usually it's just one or two people that are scanning the NWS forecast offices looking at these things. Most peeps are discussing the shape of Isaac as he makes another landfall. So, go for it. I'm not getting a lot of SPC reports out of SE Louisiana right now. You're in a perfect position to post some helpful obs.
