Don't imagine anybody will second.

I'll third or forth that, which is the only thing I'll agree with you on. I think the pattern could change during that time but it won't help produce any tropical cyclones. I'm leaning closer to late August now.

ninel conde wrote:wouldnt be surprised at all. im not predicting this but if someone said nothing till sept and 2/0/0 overall i wouldnt laugh at them. one other point. off the se coast will only be marginally favorable if the fronts stop moving off the coast and i think as the season goes on the pattern will just become more winterlike.

I would laugh any other year but this one.

one other point. i could not disagree more with JB when he says the SE US is at risk. if anything did develop in the sw atlantic it would be weak, strung out, and whsiked out to sea.

Looks like my vote for June 11-20 ended up wrong. My new prediction is July 11-20, when a weak storm will probably form. I predict our first hurricane won't come until August or even September, and I hope conditions will improve soon so we won't have such an inactive season!

Hurricanes are an amazing natural phenomena. While many are spiraling pits of evil that kill people or cause devastation, some are tame and stay clear of land.

I wish for you to :Bcool:

It looks like the people who voted June 21-30 might have a chance with the system moving off the South Carolina coast. :) (I voted June 11-20 so my time has passed.)

Looks like 2/71 people will be correct. We suck at predicting the future.

C‘mon..... "Spit it out", I missed by 1/2 a month. Who got it right? Lets give credit where credit is due; furthemore a gutsy guess given, you‘re going against the typically climo low period within an average season - KUDOS!!

But then I see these two:

.... which should make three, but apparently somebody didn't submit a vote.

I was in the June 11 to 20th crowd, part of 18% of the voters. Yep, look how far off I was!

First named storm becoming a landfalling Cat 2 - now I don't think anyone saw that coming!
