96L Remnants

Shear probably taking its final toll now. Conditions are so bad that even without shear I think the atmosphere is too negative to support it.

Your more than likely right! Environmental conditions are going rapidly downhill from here.

In an active season September and October can produce some dangerous storms especially for the eastern gulf of Mexico.
This year it was looking like season over with the TUTT there ready to shear anything traveling west.
Wonder why they put 96L up as an invest rather than wait till the TUTT showed signs of weakening?
