234th Anniversary of Great Hurricane

On this date in 1780, Barbados was getting wind gusts estimated to be in excess 200 mph from the most deadly hurricane known to traverse the Caribbean. Much has been written about the infamous Huracán San Calixto but here's the Wikipedia article on the "Great Hurricane of the Antilles".
