From a depression to a 155 knots Cat 5 monster (Tied for strongest this year along with Vongfong) to the strongest ever North Pacific extratropical storm ever with a pressure of 920 mb however OPC from the U.S estimated 924 mb which is still a record.

This *Nuri* altered the jet stream which allowed a fragment of the polar vortex to descend from Arctic region into lower Canada and the Eastern United States, affecting up to 200 million people with colder-than-normal temperatures and early snowstorms with many many cities breaking their previous lows and the incredible buffalo snow effect storm...
