NESDIS now providing Mediterranean floater region
The National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service's Satellite Products and Services Division, best known as the subset of the NOAA that provides us floaters of tropical cyclones and the world's various basins, has added the Mediterranean Sea to its tropical cyclone product page. "Medicanes," or storms that have appeared to have acquired tropical cyclone characteristics within the Mediterranean Sea, may get dedicated satellite floater imagery here.
