outflow, band, eyewall,
I Think a tropical storm T2.5/T3.0 intensity, and 998/999 Hpa
Image

I suppose a storm T2.5/T3 intensity and 998 hpa when the storm be stationary 50 km west of Sardinia coast,
outflow, band, eyewall feature is present.
This storm, it would be much more 'intense if it was not near Sardinia and in the imminent landfall (30 september 1983 storm, in same area, had hurricane caracteristics).

Hi Danielle, do you keep records of how often these occur a year and in which months they occur?

Hi terstorm1012,.
these storms have developed between august and January, in particular between September-December; same months, latitudine and sea surface temperature that developed North Atlantic Tropical cyclone like Karl nov1980, Michael 0ct2000, Noel nov2001, Vince oct2005, Epsilon Dic2005, Grace oct2009, Chris junNov2012 ecc.

their development depends from thermodynamic imbalance between cold air and warm sea surface.
Extratropical ciclone + warm seclusion = tropical transizion in the cyclonic center=
subtropical storm ------> tropical cyclone obtained.
