I get the feeling the next tropical cyclone formation will go with climatology, with early season formation occuring in the Gulf of Mexico, although in recent years, going back to T.S. Beryl in 2012, they have formed just off the Southeast U.S. coast.

I'll go with the Gulf of Mexico for this year with the next tropical cyclone development.

My feeling is that the Caribbean is going to have lots of convection come May and in June that will fester into a tropical cyclone there
