Irene '99, Katrina '05, Wilma '05, Irma '17 (storms I remember my area getting hurricane force winds/gusts).

I don't see any model support. The wave itself if fairly far south and will probably catch northern South America. The thunderstorms may be MJO enhanced,but I personally don't see anything coming of this.
