Cyclone near the Azores with subtropical characteristics

#1 Postby Vince_and_Grace_fan » Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:38 pm

The cyclone near the Azores developed today a small, but well-defined convective center, despite the SST in that area is only around 17 Celsius. Phase diagrams show that it will remain cold-cored, but it can became a bit more symmetrical than now. So the cyclone maybe has a small chance to transition into subtropical storm.
