The 2017 Hurricane Workshop is approaching soon! Looks like they're calling it an "Extreme Weather Ready Expo" this year. Who wants to meet for lunch across the street at the Lake House again? Portastorm, I thought you said you might be able to attend?

I will be there tomorrow. How about lunch at 11:30AM at the Lake House. I know Tireman wants to FaceTime since he will be busy with his kid's sports.

I don't think we can make it. Can't get my wife out of the house. She just finished breakfast at 10am. We're an hour away on bikes if we hurry, and she just had knee surgery.

Wanted to go, but hubby had to work and 1 year old son woke up sick. I hope to make the next gathering.

It was, as always, nice to see old friends (katdaddy and texaspirate). I felt like the expo, as a whole, lacked the energy that past workshops have had. I think they need to get some new freebies. LOL.
Physically, the space was arranged very well - lots of open space.
They had some very cool exhibits this year.
Where was channel 11?? What's up with that, does anyone know?
