Graphic for Surface Pressure Change

#1 Postby gatorcane » Wed Jun 21, 2017 12:55 pm

Does anybody know if there is a graphic somewhere that shows surface pressure change? For example, we have shear tendency maps provided by University of Wisconsin which show change in shear so we know if shear is increasing or decreasing over a particular area:

Such a pressure tendency graphic would be useful to see where pressures may be falling to help us see if genesis may be occurring or if a system may be deepening or weakening (perhaps prior to convection responding to the pressure drop):

Obviously we can look for ship reports or buoy data around a suspect area but though some kind of graphical representation may be nice.
