A tropical wave is in the central Atlc associated with a 1010 mb
low centered near 09N43W.
Its axis extends from 14N43W to the low
to 04N43W, moving W at 5 kt within the last 24 hours. The wave is
in a region of favorable wind shear S of 11N, is mainly in a very
moist environment with some patches of dry air according to CIRA
LPW, and is under a region of upper level divergence.
These
factors support scattered heavy showers and tstms from 0N to 05N
W of 41W, and isolated showers within 210 nm of the low center.

Well, we shall see if the trend of less shear continues. If the wave stays far enough south, may do what its predecessor, Bret did and stay in at least a marginally conducive environment for development.

Interresting... you said to put a DIKEMBE MUTOMBO? What do you mean by this? Thanks. :)

Satellite imagery of this wave looks pretty decent early this morning as convection has sustained itself throughout the overnight. I'm curious to know the reports from Gustywind from down in the area as the wave passed through this morning. NHC in their 7 a.m. TWD is not anticipating this wave to develop as SAL will hinder the environment from moistening around the tropical wave in the medium term. Also, I still clearly see upper level shear in the Caribbean which also will impede development in the medium term as well.

Hi my friend, thanks to you :) Weather deterioration has begun slightly here. Sky is grey with numerous clouds without rains and gusts for now. Looks like the bad weather is to come during the next 3 hours given our Pro Mets of Meteo-France Guadeloupe. Strong showers and locally tstorms are expected this morning and till most of the day. I will keep you informed if anything happens.
Regards.

The ULL that was centered over Jamaica is rolling WNW so I'm beginning to wonder what the shear forecast will be once this makes it to the western Caribbean?

Currently there is quite a lot of shear out the south there.
