Which invest is going to be Noru first?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Which invest is going to be Noru first?

#1 Postby SuperMarioBros99thx » Wed Jul 19, 2017 4:45 am

They are Invest 95W, Invest 96W and Invest 97W. (or Invest 98W? It's going to form anyways)
I can't create a poll since i am new here (so i am :( ). I'll go with Invest 98W (?).

Lock when Noru forms...

My opinions are mine and SHOULD not be treated as an official source of information. PLEASE see National Hurricane Center, or any other meteorological agencies, for that matter. By the way, I was born and came from Indonesia, which is rarely hit by tropical cyclones, but regardless, I have LOTS of interest in meteorology.

95W looks impressive

Closely followed by 96W

Then 97w

This is a hard one as either of these could become Noru...But, I'll stick with 95w. 97w is probably the furthers away from getting named.

I was ready to say 97W, but JMA has changed my mind. They issued their first advisory on 95W just a little while ago, expecting to name it within 24 hours. Their track record of naming their advisory depressions has been pretty good lately, even when I've been a little more hesitant.
