While I"m not convinced this will develop yet, it's certainly interesting how persistent the low level westerlies have been now for six weeks with only a few short periods where they weren't present. I honestly can't recall the last time this has happened this early.

What I don't understand is the differences in trades, the Euro/CMC/CFS all show slow trades, yet the GFS continually shows fast trade winds.

I noticed a lot of the gfs ensembles develop the system later as some
show development north of P.R.to the bahamas and some show it
further south developing in the central to western carribean.

Overall a lot more support on the 18z ensembles.

Also noticed how the NHC moved the yellow x all the way to 36w at 8PM.
That seems like where a broad center would likely be located.

Could see 40-50% on the 2-5 day forecast from NHC--invest initiation this year and last has been accompanied by an increase in development chances.
