Well, we have avoided a 2013 repeat. Not surprised, as major hurricane free years are very rare. 8-3-1.

And still 3 more months of hurricane season to go...I have a terrible feeling that Harvey won't be the only major landfall this season.

My vote of Sep 16-30 busted big time, was originally starting to expect a 1985-minus-Elena type year given the MJO predictions and SAL outbreaks.
