Don't forget we currently have a 90kt hurricane that the models dropped a week ago. I'm not sure whether this will develop or not (the models are throwing off my confidence) but they haven't exactly behaved well this year either.

Euro output and trend over the last few days looks similar to what it did with Gert, so I wouldn't rule out something similar happening, probably dropping it entirely for the next few days only to see development by mid-week.

It's almost starting to appear that whatever the current conditions over a particular wave, the GFS is keeping them static--if a wave is under less than favorable for the time being, it won't develop it--if it's under favorable (even if that'll change 24 hours later) it blows it up. Euro seems to be doing something similar though not nearly to such extreme.

Yeah. This one will be the 3rd in the pattern but should have an alley to get out way before the US. Its exit could pump the ridge though for the next system which like 91 and 92 might have the chance to come across the Basin.
