This is going to sound a tad bizarre, but...
For the 25th anniversary of Andrew, I'm doing something in my webcomic where someone literally interviews the hurricane.
(I did "An Open Letter to Hurricane Ike" as part of an exercise in a creative writing class where we had to write a letter to someone we didn't like.)
I guess what I was wondering is if you could ask a question to the disembodied spirit of Hurricane Andrew, what would it be? Feel free to make it be like you're raging at the heavens and gouging his eye out for destroying your house.
Just don't expect him to not be completely oblivious, as apparently he still doesn't understand that fiber optic cables are not the same thing as the glass noodles people put in salads, or that kids hunkering down in the dark hallways under mattresses is not the same as "making a pillow fort."

I will mark that down and add it to the...discussion.
I am under the impression it's not that interesting, except for the times someone decides to make an offering to the Mayan storm god and summons them back.

Re: Hurricane Art Part 2---Hurricane Andrew Anniversary
So it looks like I might not have the necessary art ready for the actual anniversary tomorrow, because of some dumb computer problems that came up in my research I need to fix. I will post a link when it is done, but that might not be until the weekend or even later.
Probably for the best since it seems Harvey might go all Allison on us.

Oh hey everyone...remember this thing? You know, the Hurricane Andrew anniversary comic thing I planned to do? Well, yeah, probably everyone forgot about Andrew because Harvey decided to hit us ON THE SAME DAY but I had done all the art for this beforehand so might as well post the link to it:

There will be a part two to this (in which I answer the all-important question of what in the world a hurricane's afterlife is like) but it will probably be a while
==============================================================
*Andrew is shown in the last panel transforming into his miniature form, because re-summoned hurricanes can only stay a foot wide at most when not provided with enough energy. He bought some sweat bands because he felt bad for people caught in his floodwaters and heard them say in the TV ads that they "Wick Away Moisture Real Fast" but it is doubtful they can do any good.
