Where do I learn about hurricanes?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Where do I learn about hurricanes?

#1 Postby Callista » Sat Aug 26, 2017 1:38 pm

So, a question from a newbie: Is there someplace where I can take a course on the dynamics of hurricanes? I usually follow tornadoes, because that's what I get in my own area; but hurricanes are starting to fascinate me, too. There have to be online universities where I can educate myself, right?

I have taken meteorology and oceanography classes, so I should be able to understand anything from university to early graduate level. Any recommendations?
