Blow up off NC Coast

#1 Postby OuterBanker » Wed Aug 08, 2018 1:25 pm

I know it has no model support, but then again no model showed it.
I know the dangers of blobology, but darn if the visible sat seems to show lower banding.
It will probably dissipate before I even post this.
But, there really isn’t much else out there. So what the heck.

Looks like some strong wind shear and nothing at the surface so the blob should dissipate.

Yep, poof Wednesday night.

Déjà vu Thursday morning.

I'm sure poof also tonight.

But, it is weird that it seems to have appeared again.

This is a goes image of the blowup. This is the first of the R series. The resolution is great. You can see the clouds build in the animation.
