Most of the conversation is on 91L, but this looks impressive today.

We are about 30 miles east of the feed moisture. We have been getting some stray and intermittent storms and bands, but everything is to my west.

Here in Austin it definitely feels like the outskirts of a tropical cyclone. Blue skies, dry air, still wind, and on the horizon to the southeast you can see clouds fanning out

Looks like there is a surface low just off the coast south of Port Arthur. Don't know if it is far enough off the coast or if it will hang around long enough to get cranking.

I was just at HEB and the rain was so bad that there were like 20 people stuck at the doors waiting to go to their cars. I was the smart one. I stayed in the car and sent my husband in. ☺

Absolutely amazing. If it had more time, we'd be talking more about this too. Though, this system will over-saturate the soil, and 91L is going to come in and cause some flooding for someone.

About to take a band rotating to the SW in the north Houston/Woodlands area, definitely coming in from the NE which would be unusual this time of the year (or anytime for that fact)
