Tropical Wave in Eastern Atlantic with Low Pressure

#1 Postby Gustywind » Tue Aug 28, 2018 8:37 am

Hi my friends, given my untrained eyes and the latest TWD from the NHC, a twave near 9N and 25/26W is attached with a 1010 hpa and moving due west in the Atlantic.
I don't know what the models do with it, but we should keep an eye on even if conditions are not really too much conducive at least for now. Whereas, as usual and as we're really entering the peak of the season let's continue to monitor it in case of. Wait and see.
Regards

Outflow boundaries near -37W and shear, but it was rolling along south close enough to the ITCZ so might still be wave energy that will show up in a couple days.

The previous swirl was out ahead further south near 9N the rear part of the wave further north near 11-12N is where you would look for an apex now.

If i'm wrong correct me :) thanks. Let's wait and see what could happen during the next couple of days.

Hi Gusty. I changed the title to put a general area of the wave and took out the latitude and longitude to not have to edit title many times. :D
