#1 Postby DestinHurricane » Wed Oct 10, 2018 7:30 pm

I will say 2, both weak tropical storms not affecting land like Joyce and Rina last year

I’m going with 3. One of them becoming a hurricane.

I could see October squeezing out Oscar Patty and Rafael between next week's Caribbean potential and at least 1-2 more subtropical meanderers, maybe one more lower latitude storm threatening land.

November ought to squeeze out another subtropical fomation or two and cap us out with Sara or Tony. So I'm going with 3-5 more storms.

One more hurricane, probably late October to early November.

I think Mother Nature will squeeze out two more North Atlantic basin tropical cyclones from now til the end of season November 30.

2 more- either both being tropical storms or one being a low-end hurricane.

One more, and it'll be more intense than Wilma...

No, just kidding, 3 more.

I suppose 1-4 more named storms, favoring 2 as most likely. 0-2 more hurricanes, 0 most likely.

And hopefully that major is a fish storm with no landfalls.

In late October or November, that is unlikely. A major in the very late season is most likely to be in the Caribbean or south/eastern Gulf.

I sure don't want my 14/7/2 Contest prediction to stand, and end up winning the S2K $500,000 prize money?! Oh hell no. Do you know how much in taxes i'd have to pay :cheesy:

Nope, i'm gonna go along with 'Jax on this one - 2 more named storms. One more October T.S. and one November West Caribb-icane. Call me crazy(C83), but i'm concerned that particular one could be bad as well.
