Made a real quick lookup graph of Surge Destruction Potential as a function of IKE, in case anyone was curious.

Forgot to label units of IKE as TJ on the graph above, oops...

Looks like Dorian is finally going to give the Atlantic a boost in the ACE.

As of 12Z, Dorian is actually the NAtl leader now.

Unless something really crazy happens with Dorian worth noting, I'll probably wait until after dissipation to post all of my updated statistics. I'll take a screenshot of them in in a spreadsheet program too instead of being lazy and posting the raw .csv format like I did above. :P

Because of how small it has been for its existence, Dorian still hasn't caught up to Barry's TIKE total, despite the differences in intensity between the two. It should pass Barry by 12Z though.

For every bt update >= 150 kt, Dorian is producing at least 2.25 units of additional ACE. It crossed 20 units as of 12Z. Dorian is still rather small too. At about 30.6 TJ, it's just a little bit bigger than my previous Andrew '92/Harvey '17 comparisons, but not by too much.

Ok, the 18Z best track point today finally marked Dorian as extratropical, so here are all my updated statistics as of that time. I think I found a way to copy the data that's a good compromise between raw .csv format and taking screenshots. Anyway...

It looks like the North Atlantic will reach and surpass 100 ACE units with future cyclones from 99L and 90L especially from the 90L one that may get a lot.

Atlantic might have a chance at surpassing the EPAC now depending on the two invests. There are indications from both that they'll be around for some time and might get strong.

WPAC still with a strong lead despite not having a September borned Major (Cat3+) and a somewhat below average year if you may call it.

That's what happens when the basin you're referring to has a climo ACE of twice the next nearest NHem basin

Since the start of March, the WPac actually ranks behind both the NAtl and EPac in terms of ACE. WPac only has 79.2775 in that span while the NAtl has 80.6225 and the EPac has 92.1175. Wutip is literally the only reason the WPac is ahead.

Also, NIO ACE is already 6th highest on record (since 1972). The 36.3025 ACE as of 12Z just passed 2015 for that spot.
