2018 Hurricane Season Documentary

#1 Postby hurricanetrack » Thu Jun 06, 2019 5:48 am

My latest project in the Tracking the Hurricanes series is now complete and available on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube (via PayPal).

I screened the film at Regal Cinemas in Wilmington, NC on May 30 and will do the same again in Tallahassee, FL next Weds, June 12. It is a free event, no ticket costs. The screening begins at 7pm at Regal Stadium 12 in Tallahassee. First 100 people in get to see it on the big screen with incredible digital audio.

The film covers what has been a 14 year project to develop reliable unmanned cameras and remote sensing equipment to capture the impacts of tropical storms and hurricanes - safely. The result is nothing short of jaw dropping as my team and I accomplish the seemingly impossible task of nailing category five Michael at point-blank range in Mexico Beach. The sequence at the end of the film showing this footage is simply an event in and of itself.

Add to this the music that I composed and performed make this a must-have piece of hurricane history. To get your digital copy, check out the links below. Enjoy! Would love to know what you think....
