I can't believe that I'm talking about the naked swirl, but as far as I can see it is the only thing in the mdr that shows symmetry.
It's at around 53W 19N now and actually shows what appears to be a llc.
SAL is limiting any convection atm. If it was stronger I would probably go ots because of it's latitude, but being so week it will probably make it west.
I really don't see anything coming out of this, but it is the kind of thing that can sneak up on you if it finds anything to work with as it progresses west.
Naked swirl in the central Atlantic.

Re: Naked swirl in the central Atlantic.
You know its been an incredibly hostile season for having conducive conditions for development for systems when you having theads opened for a naked swirl in the MDR.
This thread right here summarizes the type of season it has been to this point.
The good news everyone is that an inactive period in the tropics means we are not nearly as worried about potential about death and destruction these tropical cyclones can cause in areas across the basin.
However, all it takes is just for 1 storm to change the tune or tone of any particular season, no matter how slow or inactive it may/has been. We can never lose thought of this!
