William Lapenta who was director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Centers for Environmental Prediction passed away Monday afternoon.

Well that is very unfortunate but also avoidable. Rip currents are very dangerous.

Will this count as a death by Hurricane Lorenzo? I know the rip currents from that storm went as far as the East Coast of the US.
