Given that this is 2020, the fact that a low has formed already doesn't seem like good news. Things could still happen in this insane season.

True that...and at first, I was not a believer in the 2020 curse, or whatever it is called, but I am now...too many people being hurt...too much pain and loss, especially recently..that said, I'm hoping nothing comes of this low...have a good night my friends...goodnight Ice... go to Windy.... I'm there..message me...

I don't think that there is any question that a disturbance, a weak area of low pressure, will be moving inland into Costa Rica and Panama early next week. Chances of it being classified as a TD/TS appear to be very low. Same impact there either way. More rain.

Down to 0%.

Showers and thunderstorms have diminished since yesterday in
association with a broad area of low pressure located over the far
southwestern Caribbean Sea just off the northern coast of Panama.
Development of this system is not expected while it moves little
over the southwestern Caribbean Sea during the next several days.
This system is expected to produce locally heavy rains and possible
flooding over portions of southern Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama,
and northern Colombia during the next few days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent.

0% chance of development regardless means heavy rainfall for CA once again.

Just saying.
