Some Future Atlantic Hurricane Name Ideas?
Obviously we would need some of the current names being used to be retired in order for this to happen, but some suggestions I personally have regarding what names I would love to see as being included in the 126 possible Atlantic hurricane names in the future are Brian, Patrick, Tabitha, Leopoldo, Natalia, Geoffrey, Abigail, and Malcolm (like I especially feel those would be some cool, threatening names for a powerful Category 5 monster). What are your guys' thoughts, or what are some names you guys personally would desire to see in the future Atlantic hurricane name lists?

Unless explicitly stated, all information covered in my posts is based on my opinions and observations. Please refer to a professional meteorologist or an accredited weather research agency otherwise, especially if serious decisions must be made in the event of a potentially life-threatening tropical storm or hurricane.

The naming list is not complete until Caleb gets added...

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

What sounds "threatening" is going to be influenced both by one's personal experience of persons with those names, but also by what cultural and generational references one has for them. As someone who's old enough to have seen the TV sitcom "Bewitched" when it was first broadcast, "Tabitha" will always sound like a small child to me.
In general I think tropical storm names should be no longer than two syllables, as one of the main reason for using names is to give quick and easy designations for them. So I wouldn't use Leopoldo until we've gone through both Leo and Leon at least.
