8 PM TWD:

A tropical wave is in the Atlantic Ocean along 24W from 22N
southward, moving W around 15 kt. Scattered moderate convection
is noted from 11N to 12N between 23W and 25W.

A tropical wave is in the Atlantic Ocean along 31W from 22N
southward, moving quickly W around 20 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is noted from 10N to 14N between 30W and 34W.

A tropical wave is in the Atlantic Ocean along 57W from 17N
southward to across Suriname, moving W around 20 kt. Scattered
moderate convection is noted from 10N to 13N between 54W and 58W,
with additional convection near the axis over northern South
America.

Interesting how far west the monsoon trough extends. No ITCZ at all

A tropical wave is in the Atlantic Ocean along 34W from 20N
southward, moving W at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered moderate convection
is noted from 07N to 10N between 33W and 35W.

A tropical wave is in the Caribbean Sea along 64W from near the
Leeward Islands at 17N southward across eastern Venezuela, moving
W at 10 to 15 kt. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
are noted across portions of Venezuela.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 33W, from 20N southward,
moving westward 10 to 15 knots. Scattered moderate convection is
noted where the wave intersects the monsoon trough.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 71W, from 17N southward,
moving westward 15 to 20 knots. No significant deep convection is
noted with the wave.

the wave axis from 18N to 21N.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 53W south of 20N, moving W at
10 to 15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection is
noted from 10N to 14N between 51W to 54W.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 70W south of 21N, moving
westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong
convection is over Hispaniola.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 36W from 21N southward,
moving W at 10-15 kt. No convection is noted with the tropical
wave at this time.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 54/55W from 24N southward,
moving W at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered moderate to isolated strong
convection is noted from 11N to 15N between 55W an 60W.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 72W from 21N southward,
moving W at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted from
15N to the Caribbean coast of Hispaniola between 69W and 73W.

Another eastern Atlantic tropical wave has its axis along 37W
from 03N to 22N, moving westward at 10-15 kt. Only small isolated
showers and thunderstorms are noted within 180 nm either side of
the wave axis from 03N to 09N.

A central Atlantic tropical wave has its axis extending from
inland South America near 04N5W north-northeastward to 17N57W
and to 25N55W, It is moving westward at 13 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is within 120 nm east of the wave from 16N to 19N.

A central Caribbean Sea tropical wave has its axis along 73W
south of 20N to inland South America. It is moving westward at
10-15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is near the northern part
of this wave over northern Haiti and within 180 nm west of the
wave from 17N to 20N noted from 11N to 15N between 55W an 60W.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 41W from 21N southward,
moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered showers are noted in the
southern end of the wave, from 02N to 06N between 37W and 41W.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 77W from 20N southward into
South America, moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate
isolated strong convection is noted where the wave intersects the
monsoon trough over the SW Caribbean.

There is a wave that looks great. Nothing on it but in the mid Atlantic it has some spin and plenty convection.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 46/47W from 20N southward,
moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate to isolated strong
convection is noted within 60 nm of the wave axis from 05N to 10N.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 68W south of TS Fred, moving
westward at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered showers are in the vicinity of
the wave axis.

The axis of a tropical wave is near 85W, from 20N southward,
moving W at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong convection
is over the NW Caribbean.

moving W at 15 kt. Scattered showers are from 02N to 13N
between 46W and 56W.

A tropical wave is in the central Caribbean just to the south of
Fred with axis near 71W, moving W at 10-15 kt. This wave is
supporting showers and thunderstorms over Venezuela and Colombia.

A tropical wave extends south of 20N along 54W, moving W at 15
kt. Scattered showers are from 08N to 10N between 53W and 55W.

A tropical wave is in the central Caribbean just to the south of
Haiti with axis near 74W, moving W at 10-15 kt. No significant
showers or thunderstorms are noted with this tropical wave.

An Atlantic tropical wave has its axis along 56W, south of 20N
and it is moving W at 15-20 kt. Recent scatterometer satellite
data and visible imagery show a broad surface curvature
associated with this wave. Fresh to locally strong NE winds is
noted from 17N to 22N and between 51W and 57W. Scattered showers
are noted where the wave interacts with the ITCZ from 08N to 10N
between 54W and 56W.

A Caribbean tropical wave has its axis along 76W, south of 16N and
it is moving W at around 15 kt. No significant showers or
thunderstorms are noted with this tropical wave.

coast of Africa along 18W south of 20N, moving W at around 15 kt.
Scattered moderate and isolated strong convection is noted from
05N to 09N between 13W and 19W.

A tropical wave is in the Atlantic Ocean from 23N55W to
Suriname/Guyana border at 04N58W, moving W at 15 to 20 kt.
Scattered moderate and isolated strong convection is noted from
09N to 14N between 58W and 62W.

A tropical wave is in the Caribbean Seas along 78W south of 16N,

At first glance, I thought that arrow pointing to Fred on the 18z surface analysis was a new, and oddly tilted, tropical wave:

My thoughts exactly!! I thought it was a high-amplitude, negatively tilted wave that somehow had its axis extending all the way into southernmost Venezuela. :lol: :ggreen:

A far eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis along 31W
from 04N to 20N, moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is from 05N-08N between 27W-30W.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis along 47W from
03N to 21N, moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is within 120 nm east and 180 nm west of the wave
from 06N to 09N.

A western Caribbean tropical wave is along 81W from south of
20N to northern Panama. It is moving westward at 10 to 15 kt. No
convection is noted with the wave at this time
