Not sure why Goni has one peak or why Harold and Amphan were raised.

Ambali definitely deserved the upgrade. The JTWC was so bad with that system; I remember they kept it as a Cat 3 when it was an east T#6.5-7.0 on Dvorak (the advisory before they finally raised it to 135 kt).

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Additionally for the NIO, Aside from Amphan being upped to 145kts, I'm glad Nisarga was upgraded to 85kt C2 (operational 75kts) and Gati was kept at 100kts.
