Mods, can you make a poll with the following options:
- <10 ACE
- 10-20 ACE
- 20-25 ACE
- 25-30 ACE
- 30-35 ACE
- 35-40 ACE
- 40-50 ACE

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Going with 30-35. Sam will likely be stronger than Larry, but maybe a bit shorter lived so they could have around the same ACE

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

30 - 35 for the same reason as Weather Dude. Will probably be stronger (maybe a cat 4) but shorter lived than Larry. Maybe we can also have an intensity poll/thread?

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

The latest NHC forecast brings Sam to near 50 ACE around the 120hr mark. Sam is forecast to be near 41N at that time, so he might have one additional day beyond that to generate ACE before he transitions to an XTC.

I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.
