With the way things are progressing now, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with June producing 4 or so named storms

This season is literally itching to produce a strong, long-lived Cape Verde system.

Similar to shoreline ocean waves (breakers) easterly waves usually come out in sets. This might be the last of this current set. Might not be another good set for a month. Fun, fun, fun.

The first wave in the train is forecasted to head to the Caribbean and second wave looks to be heading to South America.

Sure looks like the wave due south of the Cabo Verde Islands is spinning

An Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is along 24W, from 03N to 14N,
moving W at 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection is evident from
05N to 08N between 22W and 26W.

This wave looks like will bring a good deal of rain to the Eastern Caribbean islands between Tuesday and Thursday. In PR and St Croix there is need for rain as there are areas on those islands that are very dry.

GFS consistently suggests an unsettled weather pattern
due to a robust tropical wave arriving around Wednesday afternoon
and remaining near the region through early Friday morning. Also,
GFS Gálvez-Davison Index (GDI) predicts a high likelihood of
widespread rain and scattered to numerous thunderstorms during the
second part of the workweek. Therefore, we could have a good
chance of observing a wet and unstable weather pattern if that
tropical wave moves across the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico
region. It may produce beneficial rain for the local islands,
especially for St Croix.

The GFS has been off and on developing this wave in the Western Caribbean or GoM. Knowing the GFS biases there, it seems unlikely but if other models start jumping on board it will be worth watching.
