Alberto Beryl Chris Debby Ernesto Francine Gordon Helene Isaac Joyce Kirk Leslie Milton Nadine Oscar Patty Rafael Sara Tony Valerie William

My money is on Francine, Joyce, Nadine and a late season surprise from Tony.

:cheesy:

I'm adding Gordon, Isaac and Oscar. Without actually planning it, I've got them in pairs which I believe may be a theme this season. Back to back biggies, a lull and a burst type of pattern repeating itself.

My next update: May 31!! :sun:

Making my last bet 30 days before the said date, as I suffer from anxiety.

*Final*

ATLANTIC.
xxxx
I .ERNESTO:
A Caribbean-cruiser in July that will reach C4 for a moment before weakening. Similar track to Emily '05.

II .GORDON;
A brief (~5d) but powerful Category 4/5 hurricane in the GOM that will make life hell for the population somewhere in the USA at the end of July/beginning of August.

III .ISAAC:
A strong Category 2/3 hurricane that could be a threat to Europe or North Africa by mid-August.

IV .NADINE:
A long-lived CV Category 4/5 that will sail the open ocean for around 15+ days in search of land between the end of August and the beginning of September.

V .OSCAR:
Another long-lived CV Category 5 in the MDR that will also sail a lot and will be the 2nd strongest storm of 2024 (150 - 165 kt/925 - 910 mb) in the first half of September.

VI .CARIDAD:
A strong Category 3/4 with similar track to Eta/Iota '20, but which will weaken considerably before making landfall in Central America due to a failed and long EWRC in late September/early October.

VII .EMERY:
A powerful WCAR hurricane in the first half of October that will make a rapid and surprising intensification to Category 5 (+/- 145 kt) before doing an almost successful EWRC just before the landfall in the Yucatan peninsula, MX.

VIII .HEATH:
The strongest storm of the year (165 - 175 kt/900 - 880 mb), which will be a beautiful long-lived carib-cruiser, which will be a Category 5 and will remain as one for ~3 consecutive days as it moves slowly, until it crosses Cuba as a moderate C4 and then beginning to quickly head OTS in early November.
---------
EAST PACIFIC.
xxxx
I .EMILIA:
Your usual OTS Category 4 (or 5) in mid-July that isn't a threat to anybody. It will be the strongest storm of the 2024 EPac Season.

II .JOHN:
A very strong mid-C4 that later makes landfall in Sinaloa MX as a Category 2/3 hurricane in August.

III .MIRIAM:
A moderate Category 3 hurricane in early October that could be a threat to Baja California Peninsula.

NNNN
**do not take it seriously, unless one or some of these bets come to fruition** :D
