I do think that the Caribbean, the southwest North Atlantic (near the Bahamas and Florida) and the Gulf of Mexico could be particularly at risk this season.

Wow even using the average numbers, this year's Storm2k forecast would have the 3rd most NS, a shared 3rd place for the most hurricanes and major hurricanes (all only behind 2005 and 2020). The average ACE of the participants so far is 200.6, which would be the 9th highest ACE since 1851 and the highest since 2017.

Reasoning over the last few years the trend has been for more on the Tropical storm end and not as many hurricanes, I think we will get into the supplement names but not as a huge ace as some people think.
