FWIW (Not Much)....

Thought it would be amusing. No other model has it.

We'll see if I can last here longer without getting banned than TWC :-)

Derecho,

Early start for the models this season? You got banned from TWC - you are in good company - a lot of members here have too.

MF_dolphin, Chadtm80 and me are the Admins to this site.

Welcome and thanks for posting in the tropic section.

Don't think this will do much at all. Other models are either very weak with the low or non existent. Chances less than 1% IMO

So far not other model does anything with it but It is interesting to see at least a low pressure in that area and remember that what i posted a few days ago about the ssta's warming there.

But is this a sign of things to come when the hurricane season arrives?.

DERECHO!! LONG TIME NO SEE!! WELCOME TO STORM2K!!!

Yes, I was bad and got banned at TWC. Oh well!

I thought I saw this on GFS, but I could be wrong.

My question to all the Hurricane Season "Experts" is this. Is this an anomally or will we see a much above normal season? It is very early for a significant warming IMO!! SST's in GOM at lest near Houston are still around 60f.

Last Week

The AVN actually showed a disturbance near the Bahamas last week. It is entertaining. But we got heavy rain in Palm Bay FL today. Tornado touched down about 3 miles from here this afternoon. Very tropical air already  Cheers!!

I'm not surprised the SST's are rising. We've had 28 straight days with above normal temps. Even tied a couple of records. What happened to spring? :bcry:
