Claudette flaring back up again

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Fri Jul 11, 2003 7:14 pm

The wide eastern band is falling apart which is no longer taking so much moisture away from the center ... and combined with nightfall ... here we go again with Claudette showing signs of another (convective) burst of energy ...

She's really "blobbing" right now. It will be interesting to see if it can come back together overnight underneath that blob. It looks like this may be starting to happen.

It looks like the blow up of convection is northeast of the actual LLC.
Around 90w 22n moving, well it looks like it is to the SW. If this is the LLC then it is very much exposed.

yeah, the convection blow up is well to the NE of the LLC. The blow up is around where some others saw another possible LLC.. Something tells me she's not done playing games with us..

Last light visible imagery showed a low-level environmental nightmare ...
Multiple swirls and a storm in disarray ... once again, tenacious Claudette re-fires convection ... if anything, still removed from the LLC(s), but on the MLC ... the ULL appears to have become more of a shear axis ... and now, part of the shear is coming from an anticyclone off to Claudette's SE ... diffluent shear over Claudette may likely be the cause for another convective burst and an upward swing for Claudette ... even it once again is a short time nighttime trend ... again ...
