The image says it all. Center 54 miles SE of nearest showers. High shear, almost due west movement. She's heading for Mexico, probably. Sure doesn't look like a TS. I wonder if the NHC would UPGRADE something like this to a TD much less a TS?

The above image taken at 1302Z shows a second center emerging from beneath the convection and rotating to the southwest. The first center is moving southeast. We have 2-3 vortices rotating counter-clockwise around a broad low pressure area.
