It shows what appears to be some movement to the north of that area south of Louisiana however that may be a wobble but watch the movements in the comming hours to see if a west montion will begin or it will have somewhere else in her mind to go.

Don't think so

I believe you're just seeing the squalls north of the center being blown off to the north by the high wind shear. Claudette's been doing that for days - building up then sending out bands of squalls. That's one reason it isn't developing, more air flowing out than in. I can't detect any movement northward (of Claudette).

Some of that you are seeing is what they call "echoes" and not actually rain. I am referring to the "looks like" a rain event over the New Orleans area.

I think its about 60 miles north of where it was on the last advisory. It's not in the same place and it certainly isn't NW of there. I don't think it is a true movement though. I think it is stalled and following the dynamics. That should stop pretty soon and the convection will move away and probably leave an exposed ctr w/ votices near 25 / 91

Looks like the bands of rain on the New Orleans, Louisiana National Weather Service radar are moving inward, rather than outward.
