Wow looks like Danny will make a big loop as a hurricane and that will be interesting to follow.

Okay I am totally confused, lol that's what i get for staying off the boards for 24 hrs. So we have Tropical STorm Danny that is gonna be a fish? and we have Invest 97? The first map is Danny and the second is Invest. 97? Man it's gonna be a wild season, I hate to see what's coming in August and Sept.

Brein...
You're not confused, in fact you got it just right.
TPC had a great Disc yesterday about early season activity not automatically relating to a very busy mid/late season. But, the way trofs continue to set up over the CONUS, I am stocking up on Luzianne and NoDoz

Looks like Danny could make a loop and head back westward, maybe he wants to be like Kyle? 97L looks interesting, what a busy season so far!

1PM update

#9 Postby Scott_inVA » Thu Jul 17, 2003 12:31 pm

Updated Danny and I97. Curiously, one can barely get any global to pick-up *anything* on the Invest, so they are not on the map. Of note, they all show wind shifts around the wave @850mb so they know it's there just not PROGGED to develop...yet ;)

How so of a threat? There is a trough heading straight for it. Danny is going to be a shipping lanes problem.

Who knows right now. Could be a GOMer, EC, Big Fizze or a Fish. Midweek trof progged throu central CONUS will help solve the mystery.

As usual, we will be in a "hurry up and wait" mode........I guess we should be used to it by now but you know how us hurricane junkies are....we need that "instant gratification" 8-)
