Where is the WalMart going to be located? We spent last weekend down in "The Pass" at the Jackson Colony.....there isn't anywhere to shop for groceries.....you've got to go back up to I-10. Actually it's easier just to drive west on 90.....there's more shopping in Waveland than either The Pass or BSL. I wonder when the Winn Dixie in BSL plans to open?

Sort of OT

I imagine the WalMart behind the Sea Wall on Galveston Island did ok.

It is built on the spot where 100 nuns and orphans drowned at the St. Mary's orphanage in the 1900 storm. The orphanage was built away from the city because there were fewer mosquitoes there, thus lower risk of malaria and yellow fever.

Wal Mart in the Pass is progressing well. The building is up and painted. There are still a few piles of dirt where the parking lot will be. I'll let ya'll know when it opens.....MGC
