BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. THESE BANDS.WHICH
HAVE A TROPICAL CONNECTION.ARE MOVING NO. AROUND 30 MPH.AND
HAVE RAIN RATES OF OVER ONE INCH PER HOUR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.

NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE
FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE
ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE.TURN

Be careful driving home tonight angelwing! I hate driving at night in this weather. I know that the speed limit is down on the Walt Whitman and Delaware Memorial Bridges and I'm sure the other ones are lower as well.

Thanks Steph! I drove thru a wall of teaming water...boy did it pour :eek: Only hit one road that was flooded but got home in about an hour, usually it takes me 40 mins.

This morning wasn't bad, but just went outside here and its pouring again in Wrightstown, sigh

edit-just saw the post above mine, that's what we're getting hit with now, sigh

Flooding is still ongoing in Eastern NC, with quite a few roads still closed because they are flooded out.
