An organization helping Southeast Texans whose homes have still not been repaired from Hurricane Rita wants to alert local citizens that certain FEMA assistance programs end on August 31st.

If you still need home repairs you are encouraged to call Lone Star Legal Aid before this date.

They can help you with FEMA appeals, housing grant appeals, consumer contract fraud, insurance and other issues you may have.

They also have representatives who speak Spanish and Vietnamese.

If you would like more information on this assistance you can do so by calling 1-800-551-3712.
