Hello all just wanted to explain how to download and use mirc to connect to our irc chat for those that wish to do use that instead of the java version. Start the download by clicking the link at the bottom of this message. Once downloaded open the file to start the instalation.. Once installation is through open the mirc program and a mirc options window will appear after the program is opend. Click the
Add button and a add server window will apear. For description put storm2k, for the server put irc.stormdancing.net leave everything else how it is and then hit add. then you will be taken back to the mIRC options window. In the top box "irc Network" hit the down arrow and change it to read ALL. In the second box hit the down arrow and select storm2k. In the Full Name box, just put in your name. In the email address box put in your email address.. And in the nickname field put in your chat nickname. Once that is done, hit the connect to server button. Once you are connected to the server a window will pop up called "input Request" If your have physically regesterd your nick on this new chat server than put in your password there and hit OK. If you have not registered your nick then just hit cancel (I recomend registering your nick when you get in to the chat room to secure your nick so that no one else can use it.) After that type the following command in the text box exactly as i show here:
/join #storm2k You will then be connected to our chat... Wooo Hooo

After you do all this work the first time then your done with everything that you have to do.. The next time you open up mirc to come to the chat all your info will be Pre-entered. all you will have to do is hit the connect button
