The best haunted house in Louisiana is not in New Orleans. It is in St. Francisville. The Myrtles. It gives me chills just thinking about it and have been dying to go.

It's a tour Trish, not just one house. There are some pretty creepy places in the Quarter.

Y'all got slammed last year...you deserve time to relax, talk, and enjoy each other's company and celebrate your culture and surroundings. Nothing to be jealous about. :)

I know that came from the heart, GD.. and you're right. Thanks for the sentiment... we DO need something to "Lift the Spirits" :D

Hey...you can sleep there too! Trish's brother and ex-girlfriend stayed there one night but didn't experience anything wierd.

Now there's a thought.....anyone care for a night in St. Francisville!?!?!?

I don't think you can sleep at Madame John's Legacy... it's on Dumaine in the Quarter.

Here are a couple of links I've found with "ghost" tours:

Enjoy!

sounds interesting.
I think more people would want to go to New Orleans than St. Francisville.
When are you all planning this?

It's not in St. Francisville LaPlace, this is a tour in the French Quarter.

Well, I "was" talking about the house in St. Francisville....the one you can sleep at, however, I do think more people would come if we tour sections of the French Quarter. There are lots of ghost and voodoo stories around there. (then we can go to Razoo or the Krazy Korner after) :D

Yeah, sadly Madame John's Legacy is "down" for the season... I guess the oldest structure in the Mississippi Valley second only to the Ursuline convent (also in the FQ) is making some badly needed repairs... that house/museum is a must to first time visitors.... goes back to 1789.

Linda, you are what we used to call a person who finds an outhouse, sticks an Evinrude right down the hole, and cranks it up to MAX!...
