I'm here! I've just been watching that mess in the gulf a lot. Trish is in Bogalusa. Her dad is in the hospital up there.

Scott, at least you can jump between the cracks. Ours are so close together we have to walk on top of them. My grass is brown and my trees are actually wilting.

I bet Brad is floating in the pool everyday.

That's if all the water in Brad's pool didn't evaporate. This drought is getting really ridiculous.

I mean look at this....we're comparable to a desert!

Goodness I saw on the news last night or the night before we were -18.46 inches behind for the year!!!!!!!!! Is that not horrible. My green grass at my new house is now turning brown and will be dirt like the yard at my trailer pretty soon.........and man I paid a lot for this dang green grass! (they just threw the house in :))

We need to go before too late in August or Aimee will be back at Ole Miss, yes OLE MISS!!!!!! GoooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOO Rebels!!!!! (yuk, personally I am a geaux Tiger fan myself :) ) and next year I will have a war! one child at Ole Miss and one at MS State......geeze egg bowl here we come, except I'll be living in it!

Mary

Linda, It's hard to believe, its the "old folks" that are rip rareing ready to go and the "young uns" are sitting on the porch still.....we need South to move up here and join us from the South Florida gang!

Good golly! I had no idea we were in the extreme drought mode.

Well Scott, we know Brad.. he will find water somewhere. lol.

Mary, I read in the paper this morning that we are 23 inches below normal since January. What gives? When I was going down Market St. this morning taking my daughter to work, I got two big drops of rain on my windshield. heehee.

LOL at the old folks. Well, we did kick the younguns behinds, didn't we?

Shoot, I wish I knew, I'm about ready to put on my feathers and start doing a rain dance (if I knew how :) ) Wow, you got 2 drops of rain??? We didn't get any! and of course that was Reader's numbers and probably for Biloxi so I believe Pascagoula is probably -23 inches this year as he just said "we" and they don't include Pascagoula in the "we" all the time.

Mary

OH yea, we kicked their butts but good!

Hi all sorry I have been out. My pool is empty I have switched to floating in Lake Pontchartrain during the weekend I figure I have about two weeks before I will have to move on to the Gulf. I have also been practicing for LSU Football games (60 days left) by BBQing and drinking beer. So as you can see I have been busy. Talk to you all later

I'm going to call today to get details regarding the tours. They are by reservation only, so I'll need input as to who would like to do this and when. I was thinking October - 12th, 21st or 28th (all Saturdays).
