About posting false information

#1 Postby cycloneye » Sat Apr 29, 2006 1:29 pm

Today a member posted information about a low pressure forming in the ITCZ which in reallity is not true. That member said it was a joke but in my estimation posting false information in a funny way is not the best way to have this forum running smoothly. That is because many members may believe the information that is posted and later it turns out it is false. So folks let's avoid from posting information that is not true.I hope that with this announcement no more false information posting occurs.Any violation of this announcement means the staff can take action against the members who post false information.

I really hope that this does not occur again.
