I think that is awesome weathernic! I also do writing. I have been writing since a small child and wanted to get a book published. Just did not know where to get started. I have had some of my work published on better karma.com. And won a few essay contests along the way.

I wish I could go to the party but it does not look like I will be able to make it. My boyfriend's friend is coming from Texas and he wants to spend some time with him. We are doing something tonight just don't know what.

Hate to bump an old topic, but the wife and I discussed making a trip to NOLA early June, or about the same timeframe you (we) did round two last year....

Anybody in? Maybe the 2nd or the 9th?

I can do the 9th, the first Sunday in June is Family Reunion and I missed last year because I went to NO to be with "this family" my "real" ones would die if they knew I was DRINKING WISKEY!!! good ole hard shell Southern Baptist that they are!

I'm with you Linda, but we live in the wrong place to fuss about the heat...just think if you lived up north, you would be feezing your tush off.....and can you belive a possibility of snow on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday??? Robi has to go to Hattiesburg and teach a firearms class so he may be teaching it in the snow!

But as he has always been told, even at the FBI National Academy.....It NEVER rains on the range! Meaning you can't pick the weather conditions of when you might get in a fire fight with someone..etc..
